Funtavia will be held Friday 9 January from 5.30pm and Saturday 10 January from 3pm.

Funtavia will be held at Blue Heelers Square, located at 181 - 195 Marine Terrace (next door to Yamaji Art). That's right, the same location it used to be. But instead of being behind the old Blue Heelers Tavern (rip), we’ll be taking over Blue Heelers Square! Same location, same vibe, less buildings and much more gravel. 

Blue Heelers Square has a lovely, large carpark accessible from Lester Avenue (opposite the church). You can then walk through to the festival from the carpark. Please note, the carpark will close when the festival ends, so please make sure you’ve moved your car if you’re going out afterwards!

Nope, you can wear whatever you want!* Got a fancy dress that you never get to wear because it’s just a bit too fancy? Wear it to Funtavia! Just wanna be comfortable and basically wear PJs? Do it and enjoy the comfiness! 

*There are a few exceptions, of course. No thongs, no bathers, no gang clothing, no clothing that smells really, really bad - you know, the usual dress code stuff. 

If you just want to come down, grab a drink and a bite to eat, and hang out with mates, you can do this for free! 

If you want a little more fun, you can grab a Play Pass, check out a Ticketed Show, or just grab a One Night Stand Pass or Full Weekend Pass!

🎭 Ticketed Shows (Cargo Hold)

Choose your own adventure and add premium comedy shows to your night.

These seated shows take place inside The Cargo Hold, our comedy venue in the heart of the festival square. Show tickets are sold separately.

Decision paralysis holding you back?

This one keeps it simple: one ticket, one night, access to all shows on either Friday or Saturday, plus the festival vibe around it. If you want the perfect night out in Gero, this one’s for you.

🌀 Full Weekend Pass

The best bang for your buck if you want the full Funtavia experience.

Grab this pass and enjoy everything across both nights, including shows, festival vibes and all the fun in between.

You sure can, although it'll cost you a little extra. To save yourself some cash - and to avoid disappointment if the show you wanted to see has sold out - we recommend buying your tickets ahead of time.

Nope! Help us reduce paper usage and just bring along your phone and we can scan your tickets directly from your email or, if you can’t do that we will just look up your name!

Yes, we take card! We will also be accepting cash, but EFTPOS payments are preferred.

When the festival kicks off! So 5.30pm on Friday 9 January and 3pm on Saturday 10 January. There will be a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the weekend.
